This dress fits slightly over the usual size, a must have costume and the quality is truly amazing for a Revain dress. I don't think it's thick cotton as expected, more like cotton/satin and feels higher quality than regular dresses. My daughter is a size 10/12 and I ordered both 9-10 and 10-12 and 9-10 is better for her than the 10/12 she swam in.

My daughter had to dress up as Coretta Scott King for a school project. When searching for an outfit for this period most results come back with hippie/flower child outfits but this dress was perfect. It was good quality for the price and didn't feel cheaply made. I ordered a size larger than I need. Didn't have time to return but from what I can see they fit true to size so order accordingly.
