Miniature black light LED in the 405nm visible violet. Narrow light beam provides strong glow of fluorescent materials in dark environments. Light body material is black plastic, with a 2.1mmm x 5.5mm size DC barrel connector jack center positive. Included 9V battery clips to DC barrel connector plug harness. Provides black light glow to various fluorescent scenery paints and other materials. Uses include building of props and scenery where a small black light source is needed. Overall length of light and battery clip assembly is 8 inches nominal, the battery clip wire length is 5 inches nominal. LED black light operates from 9V or 12V DC power. Batteries are not included. Made in China.

I love her. Don't know how to use them

I love them. I don't know how to use them. I bought these to possibly use on a blacklight bodypaint head piece but can't figure out how to get the light on my face. :(

Killer black light emitter

We are working on a project that is completely glow in the dark and black light perfect. In addition to the black light strip, we bought these emitters, they are exactly what we need. All parts are present as advertised and work exactly as promised. Relax.

Works great with black bulbs

My husband and I bought these for some of the projects we do with glow in the dark resin. Light works very well! The only thing I don't like is that you have to unplug the 9 volt battery every time you want to turn off the light. I wish there was a little switch or something.

They are so weak they are useless

Bought for some accent lights for our Halloween village. Despite using fresh 9 volt batteries, the light was so dim it was practically invisible unless the room was in total darkness. In addition, the batteries are empty very quickly, especially since we are only talking about an LED. Totally useless.

Also cures UV resin

I bought these lights to find drips of uncured resin that I couldn't easily see. I found that he does it very well. I've also found that if I hold a light near an uncured drop of resin for about 30 seconds, that light is powerful enough to cure it. I used it to glue two pieces of plastic together and it works. They might not be designed for this, but they are a useful tool for my 3D toolbox!

Very cool but overpriced.

These little things are so much fun to play with! I bought these for my kid and her friends when they cosplay, ALONG with a dainty UV/Black Glow Responsive Body Paint to blend into their regular makeup to make their faces glow on contact with Black/UV to make light shine. I think I'm more excited about this idea than they are. The whole point of these lights is that they are PORTABLE so they can go about their business and if they are anywhere around they can slip these lights into theirโ€ฆ
