Great cutter for spot welding! A+

This spot welding torch worked great! I used it on my classic Mustang to remove the hood. I cut about 100 spot welds with a tip and it's probably still usable. I used other cheap ones and kept breaking the cutter and ruining the center tip. Don't waste your money on cheaper ones.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Expensive

I don't hate drilling anymore

I built a custom skid plate for an old WWII truck and had to drill a million 3/8" holes for Hot Rivets rivets. I literally drilled 276 holes with this kit and with some Tap Magic coolant I just blunted 1 of 3 drill bits that cut through an A 50 mild steel plate. I have these in many other sizes and love them.

Pros
  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

These beats are the real deal baby!

I loved the sharpness and hardness of these powerful tips. I slightly centered the work before use and the center pins held the bits in place for the most part. Even when they slipped I also used cutting oil, that smeared things a bit, they stayed intact. I used a bit to remove the rear apron on a '68 VW Beetle. He has one life left to easily remove another. I was concerned about drilling spot welds, but after using them I now have no hesitation in removing the bottom. I love these beats and so

Pros
  • Welder
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
