I hung this over the existing barn door to deaden noise from both directions. It was very helpful and welcoming. The dark gray color is pleasant. The stitching is even. The grommets are well placed and able to work with the narrow cornice I am considering. I didn't notice any gas formation as mentioned in other reviews. Much luck !

I bought two of these to dampen wall noise in a shared apartment. I was having trouble sleeping due to noisy neighbors and thought this would help. They kind of deaden the noise, but not enough to get me to sleep. This is in addition to noise-canceling headphones. I don't know what else can drown out the noise other than building an entire escape pod. Sigh.

I bought several of these and hung them in my office. Unfortunately, they haven't been carbonated in a long time and smell very bad. Other people in my office building complained, so I took them to them. They are two large ones to put in my large washing machine so that is not an option. I contacted the seller to see what the options are. One star until I get a response from the seller.

CAME TO ME EARLY IN A BOX WITHOUT PLASTIC AROUND THE PRODUCT. IT WAS COVERED WITH SMALL WHITE COTTON BALLS. DESIGNATED COMPANY. BLA BAL. I TRIED TO REMOVE EVERYTHING AND CONTINUE TO MEASURE. THE MEASURES ARE NOT WHAT STATED ON THE SITE. GO BACK. BUT FOLDING AND INSTALLING IN THIS LITTLE BOX WAS A REAL NIGHTMARE. MADE IN CHINA. SOCKET ON ONE SIDE ONLY. GET NOTHING BUT AN INACCURATE SIZE WAS THE LAST HIT. COME BACK!

They are perfect. and there will be at least 3 more. EXACTLY what I was looking for. helped with the overall tone in the room. And they help keep a little more kit sound in the house. Luckily my neighbors are amazingly cool and don't complain about moulting or probation. But I still wanted to contain a little more noise in the house (as opposed to loud bleeding through walls/windows). Mike DePetrillo

I wish the metal eyelets were on the long side. It would have been nice to have this option because I needed it for long distances to fill a large doorway. It provides some soundproofing and keeps the heat in the room. The cost was ok compared to other options. I didn't notice any odor as others have reported. I've started it 4 times because you know what consumers are - wish it was fatter - wish it had a better muffler etc. Although cheaper than making one yourself. What I really need to do is
