The tie was good but the manufacturer didn't take care of it. The tie was wrinkled, but obviously not due to delivery problems. The outer plastic was completely intact, so definitely from the factory. Something like this should be wrinkle free by the manufacturer, who should take reasonable steps to ensure it stays that way.

There were 5 friends, mostly bartenders, so I ordered 7. All coordinated and against the background of dark blue suits the yellow actually looked a bit darker and was similar to the yellow my wife chose flowers and such. I was looking for a nice long maroon silk tie for my wardrobe. I wanted silk and extra long because it's lighter and thinner than other materials so it doesn't get bulky when tying intricate knots. This beautiful silk tie, while looking nice, is a little thicker than I would like. There is extra padding which I assume fits better. So for the Windsor knot that's fine, but anything more complex would be too cumbersome. Knowing that, I would go with a regular length tie from this manufacturer…

I bought something like this for my wedding and it turned out to be rubbish. I found them and ordered them and holy cow what's the difference. You are perfect. They are not too thin, not too fat, not too yellow and not so pale that they only look dirty. I am happy about this
