Not very compact for traveling. I was going to use it for a trip but found the whole thing to be larger than an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper and its thickness made it difficult to fold back into a bag. I returned the item for a refund.

I bought this blanket for my flight tonight. I washed the comforter 3 times and couldn't stop the comforter from linting. Needless to say I didn't take it with me on the trip. Too bad the duvet was soft. I contacted the company, no response. I will return this product.

Use as a pillow OR blanket. Not both. A duvet essentially fills out a pillow that isn't thick enough without a duvet. I need them for my twins in kindergarten and even the throw pillows are too big to take with me. I am still sending the duvet because the pillows are the perfect size. At least they are really soft and fluffy.

I bought it to use on the plane where it's always very cold for me. It's very soft, doesn't pill and keeps me warm. I've also used it in Air Bnb for sleeping because I usually take off my duvets in Hotels/Airbnb. It worked well and I'm glad I'll take it next time. Tip: When trying to fit my bag into my pocket, I folded the blank, tucked it in, and then placed it between my thighs to close it. Otherwise it is quite difficult to close the zipper.

Bought for my daughter's hikes. She was very comfortable no matter what the weather with it in her outfit. Works as a backup cushion. It's nice to see that it has survived several trips of exploration and looks as good as it did when purchased. No pilling, discoloration, fraying or thinning of the material after a dozen washes. [We wash of course on delicates or by hand in a front loading machine.] Doesn't take up much space but is very comfortable, warm without being stiff.

I bought this duvet on a whim before a long flight to Italy and was so glad I did! It's very soft and cuddly and just the right size. It folds easily to fit in a zipped bag and the fact that you can use it as a pillow is a bonus! I like the strap that goes over the handle of the suitcase. Plan to buy more when they come back in stock to keep in any of our cars! Full recommendation! Much better than the flimsy blankets that airlines offer.

Nice soft blanket for traveling on an airplane. I don't like the blankets they give you on the plane, they are too small and thin and I think their cleanliness is questionable. I ordered this duvet for air travel as the airlines no longer offer it. It arrived quickly. When I opened it I was very pleasantly surprised. I don't think I can expect much fuzz or thickness from a travel rug but it is soft. It comes in a separate bag, making it very easy to carry. I would like it to be a little smaller. It's like a biology textbook that takes up little space when you put it in your bag. It's not easy to squeeze.
