I lost my Go Pro because of this faulty device

DO NOT BUY! THAT DOES NOT WORK! I was very excited this morning when I pulled out my GoPro on the SUP. Somehow, the cable that was used to attach it to my board (not included, btw) came loose and my GoPro fell into the water due to poor suction. I saw my GoPro drift into the abyss. When I dived into the water, he was gone. Please don't buy this.

Love it!: Camera mounts and clips

Great suction on my SUP. At first I thought the gyroscope might help change the look, but it spins fairly easily and sticks to the board well. There is an eyelet for tying. I just used a piece of string I had laying around. Now I really want a Bodhi case. I like to switch the camera from Bodhi Floatie to Paddle and if I drop it it disappears. Definitely worth your money!

Good idea, bad design

Good idea but bad design execution. The suction cups are flexible enough to easily stick to smooth surfaces like a kayak or board. I managed to get just one suction cup to work. Such a great idea. Change the material of the suction cup, add flexibility to the body of the triangle. And add camera attachments like elbow extenders. Also add a cutout on the body for a rope so you can tie the body to the kayak.

Fairly lively, sucks normally. Fallen in a moment. Definitely recommend 3M safety rope

Easy to attach and detach from the board. I like that it has an anchor point. I added an external 3M tether and am very glad I did as it fell off towards the end of the 2 hour session. When he fell he was floating in the water, I also had a GoPro flotation case to make sure he didn't drown. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this if you're tethering it to your board. (otherwise it may float away)

Fixture cracks become professional EDIT: improved design

I ordered the whole thing excitedly that the suction was soaring and when I went to install my Go Pro the plastic part of my Go Pro mount broke and the screw on the other end popped out. I went back thinking again that I was unlucky but the second one also had small cracks so I didn't even try to install my Go Pro and just came back EDIT! I was contacted by the creators and they fixed the issue and sent me a replacement with new and improved ones and it's great! He held on to the boat and wasโ€ฆ

Heavy hickeys, but the hinge cracked.

I have to reconsider my review of this product. After more than 2 months of use (about 30 times on my foilboard) this suction pipe broke last night. only 2 months? Oh well. [I wrote this 2 months ago] I used this in watersports - wingfoil. My flight speed was about 15 mph and I fell off the board several times and even hit the suction once. This device has powerful suction (if squeezed properly). When I accidentally kicked him, he moved slightly. I'm very happy with its strength. You just haveโ€ฆ

Doesn't work like it does on my Paddleboard

I bought this for my Stand Up Paddleboard and wasn't thrilled with the suction/stickiness. It doesn't stick to my board at all, dry or wet. I tried both ways but neither of them worked. It will appear in seconds. However, since it has a triangular base, I tuck it under the handle and it holds it in place until I fall off the board. I also bought a leash as it doesn't stick so I don't lose my GoPro if it falls off the board. Haven't tried it on other surfaces yet, but seems like it could workโ€ฆ

This thing is awesome

Wow. Bodhi Floaty is amazing. I was a little skeptical when I bought it but after taking it out on the water I was very impressed. I took it surfing, dried off and got a lot of hits and the thing never bounced off my board. The suction power is amazing. But once you're ready to take it off, it's very easy to do so by pressing the little tabs on the suction cups and it pops off instantly without damaging the board. And just to test it I threw it in the water to see if it really floats and ofโ€ฆ
