I really enjoyed using this mug for about a month until a friendly scuffle over the kettle switch resulted in my elbow flying into the mug on the bar and he smashed in a million pieces on the hard tile floor. This glass suits me. The design is perfect. You put the tea in an infuser, cover it with a lid to keep it warm, and once brewed you place the infuser on the lid to catch liquid while you enjoy your tea.
