My 7 year old loves them. It can be worn for hours in 30-50F weather and for many hours and miles without complaint. They look cute with black pantyhose and their dresses. We bought the shoes a size larger (4) than her normal shoe size (3.5) so they would last a little longer until she outgrows them. The plaid has some purple stripes which we didn't notice before purchasing. Very happy with this shoe.

My four year old complained of cold feet in his old winter boots and his socks were constantly wet from snow falling on them. The last straw was after a morning walk in the fresh air: under his winter trousers he got wet from his legs to his hips, the water flooded his underpants. These boots are very high and water and snow will NEVER penetrate. so easy. In addition, they have a rating of up to minus 30. The best boots for a child. We are customers for life.

Muck Boots I first ordered elsewhere in women's sizes. They left blisters on my heels. I sent them back and ordered these instead. They're a bit big, very wide, and I could probably scale down the size. However, my arch insoles fit snugly and don't blister. I keep them and am a swamp convert. I wear a women's size 7 mainly because of the width and I ordered a large children's size 6. However, they are bubblegum pink and not the darker pink as shown in the picture.
