I have replaced all my recessed compact fluorescent lamps with these LEDs and am very satisfied. Color is good and they are lighter than the CFLs they replaced. It took a bit of work to rewire all the recessed jars, but I think it was worth it. Most likely I won't have to change the lamps for the rest of my stay at home. A note: these lamps are longer than three-tube CFLs. If your jar has a lid, they won't fit. I have two recessed glasses over the tub and shower that are covered and I need to…

Like new for LED lamps

One of the ballasts of the CFL lamp is defective. Tried other options to not pull the light down but ended up with rewiring which was very simple except pulling the light out of the wall. After everything was rewired and reinstalled, both lights came on. I think they're a little brighter than the CFLs they replaced, but not by much. I'm glad this issue was resolved as the ballasts were riveted and a new one would have cost $10. She would probably replace both for $20. Let's see how long these…

This is a good product. I was replacing the fluorescent tube in my wife's double-sided makeup mirror and had to remove the ballast. I took photos of the process as I made it, but I can't upload them for some reason. Essentially on a circular base that attaches to the wall, remove the cover. You will see white and black wires going from the plug to the ballast and the white and black wires on the other side of the ballast going to the adjustment lever and finally to the lamp area.
