What can I say? I thought it would be good to read, ordered it, tried it and it is good to read. It is also good for other work. When our power went out during the apocalyptic freeze in Texas last week, it came in handy. I've never tried anything like this before, so I can't compare myself to others, but this works for me. I don't expect miracles from him. I just want to lighten up the book pages a bit.

This is the best I've ever bought. I have just ordered 3 more lanterns for a total of 6. My husband works as a postman and uses it after dark to read the addresses on the mail he delivers. My boyfriend and I started knitting so we could use them to see better. And I read with him. I am buying 3 more as Christmas gifts for my kids. They are very useful when the power goes out.

My son has been using this bedside reading for a few months. The other day he broke down in tears and told me it shocked him so he gave it to me. The wires are visible on either side of the flashlight body as the temple cover has come out of the body. This should not be possible in safe light. I'm out of the returns window at the moment but strongly advise against buying this for a child or anyone who might fall asleep with it around their neck or next to their body.
