I hesitated to buy this sounddock because I was concerned that it would not match the quality of my previous Bose sounddock which was much more expensive. I'm glad I saved $100 and went with this version. The sound quality is like my Bose II which recently died. Go and buy, it's worth every penny!

It's amazing that a brand as expensive as Bose would let such an issue escape quality control. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem. Of course, the sound quality when playing is good. But when the party accidentally stops several times a day for no apparent reason, that's no joy.

Sounds great, but I just started using it today. I was struck by the sheer simplicity of the packaging and the almost comical ease of use. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, plugged in my iTouch and I'm in business. No bells, no whistles. He wants one thing: to amplify and project the music (or something else). But since I only bought it for this, I am really very satisfied. thanks bosses
