Minimum field of vision

Actual magnification range is only about 25% of the lenses; the rest is just clear. This makes it very difficult to use while reading as you have to tilt your head to position the glasses on your nose to get the correct reading angle. Not very practical or useful.

Pros
  • Reading glasses
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Frame hinge broken on the first day, first use

The right bracket broke on the hinge on the first day. Storage glasses in a case. I folded the left hinge normally, but the right hinge broke immediately. When worn they were great, the reading lenses were clear and worked well but I wasn't expecting the frames to be disposable.

Pros
  • Vision
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Good arguments. Bad shipping packaging!

The glasses are great. You look good. I used 3.0 and upgraded to 3.5. They're as good as any inexpensive bifocals I've bought from Revain. However, since Revain didn't include a protective cover for shipping, they buckled. Luckily I was able to straighten them without breaking them. The seller must reach Revane. They must be put in a small box! A blue and white envelope is not suitable for such a fragile item!

Pros
  • Health and household
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
