Description of 🧥 Boston Leather 1.75-Inch Garrison in Black

Order one size larger than your pant size, which is industry standard for uniform belts. Belts are measured from the buckle turn to the middle hole and will be within 1 inch of the stamped size. Made in the USA. The Garrison Leather Belt from Boston Leather is made from natural, full-grain English bridle leather that has been drum dyed to prevent cracking and peeling. Each belt is also outfitted with 7 tip holes instead of 5 to accommodate more sizes. Solid brass snaps and staples prevent rusting, and each buckle can be removed and replaced with one of your choice.

Don't buy this, get a better belt

Looks cool but poor quality. This belt is the same as the Army Navy Surplus. They fall apart after a few months. The only difference is that it's twice the price. Yes, it's real leather, but clearly not from a strap, but from a high-quality piece of leather. The top layer appears to be synthetic. The bottom layer has a different reinforcement and is very rough to the touch. One can only guess what's in the middle, but my guess is cardboard. I've had the belt for less than a week. I was prone to

Predictably holds jeans

Modern production is positive in this case. The product is significantly thinner than it was at the turn of the century. Reviews in some cases want the old belt thick belt of yesterday. These items cannot be worn with modern clothing. If you need a six-barreled pistol or saber holster, get a custom one. But if your waistband on your jeans is overly twisted, get this belt width and enjoy planting, walking, working, and sitting. In a park with run-of-the-mill clothes, kettlebells, and Indian…

Too thin Accessory

I needed a brown belt for work in my spare time and it took me a while to find it in local stores. I ordered a brown Boston and said, dammit, I'll have the black one too. I got them both in size 38. The black was too short and thin to be Boston, didn't feel like leather and brought it back. The brown one was a bit longer but still too thin. I would return the brown one too, but I needed a brown belt. I've worn Boston belts for 18 years and they were too thin and felt cheap. With that said, I…

Size matters! for accessories

I have more than two dozen belts in sizes 38 to 40 waist. I wanted to buy a stock that would be durable and two sizes too big for comfort when wearing a holster on my bike. I bought size 42 and received it yesterday. I am very very disappointed that 42" will NOT fit. This belt must be a maximum of 40.5! I'm all for convenience and don't want to waste time so I ordered a more expensive belt. However, I not only spent time, but also money! I am so disappointed! I will no longer do business with…

Thin, leather-free, and comically short belt

Update: Recently taken off. (Hooray for me!) And wear size 32. I first bought a size 34 belt based on the comments. It was too short but halfway decent quality. I sent it back and ordered size 36. Not only did it come up short, but it also came out so thin. It wasn't the leather, it was the quality of the box. One of the other reviews shows two different branding images on the inside of the belt. I received one of each and one was much inferior in quality to the other, obviously fake. I feel…

The best belt I've ever had.

I've had this belt for 14 months at the time of writing. I wore it every day. It still works like new. Very little wear is visible and no corrosion on the buckle. No stretching (or am I stretching to compensate?). Made in the USA and shows the high quality I have come to expect from USA products. I have had other high quality straps in the past, usually for carrying a holster. It's as good or better than all the others. Update 2 years after purchase. I've been wearing the belt almost every day…
