I chose the smallest size I could find in blue as it is the closest to my daughter's sizes but is still a bit large in the bust area. She's slim and tall, so she's having a hard time finding the right size. The ribbon for the bow allows me to tighten it a bit which helps. The color doesn't seem that bright but let's see how it will look in the sun. First of all, this is a beautiful dress. Perfect for father daughter dance.

The layers of fabric are full and the detailed trimmings on the bodice are beautiful and thicker than expected, giving it a rich look. The blue is exactly the same as the picture and the dress was pretty easy to put on and take off but the arm fit was a little tight but doable. Your little princess will love it.

It's not a stretchy material, it's something like a fabric that a flower girl would wear. Maybe she'll wear it again sometime next year because she has a bit of room to grow. Beautiful dress. My daughter is 8 years old and normally wears a size 7. This dress runs large and long, so order one size down. The zipper can easily get caught on the fabric, so we have to be very careful. Otherwise very happy with the purchase. My daughter loves this!
