Looks cute out of the box but cats become very attached to it after a few days of first use. We've had a much higher quality cotton blanket that we've used for decades without this issue, so I have to think it was a quality issue and not a circumstance issue.

This would be a great comforter if it didn't shrink every time and the sheer amount of lint as it dries. I have washed and dried this duvet 4 times so far and the lint filter has clogged each time. I really wanted to love this comforter. I have a cotton thermal underwear that looks similar and have enjoyed using it for years. I was very disappointed. This duvet leaves an inch of fluff in the dryer with every wash. Make sure you wash and dry it separately. It started unraveling in several places where the ends were untied. Poor quality for long term use. However, it's fine for short-term use as long as it's only needed for a year.

It took me a while to get the lint out of the wash tub and I had to clean the dryer screen 4 times during drying. When I took off the dry blanket, I had lint all over it. The fabric and weight of this blanket is exactly what I wanted but SO MUCH WORPS! I figured this blanket would be a major fire hazard if left to dry and left the house with the dryer on. I emptied the dryer lint trap THREE TIMES during the first drying after pulling some soft ball sized lint out of the washing machine after washing. After drying this comforter, be sure to clean the side of the dryer where you put the lint filter (ours was completely clogged with lint). Be sure to order one size
