Excellent product at a price

I don't use motion sensors because I don't want them to turn on every time. I've bought velcro command strips to attach to my closets since I rented. It's perfect. and I love how it changes the look of the kitchen at night. They are thin enough not to notice the box when illuminated. A simple and inexpensive way to change the look of your kitchen!

Dangerous - Melted Battery - Flammable

Extremely Dangerous. It came in a pack of 2. One bulb didn't work at all despite new batteries. The second set worked fine but after 1 minute the back plate got very hot. I removed the cover and the light melted the battery compartment. If I hadn't seen this, it would have easily started a fire in my house. Do not buy, very dangerous!

Accent lighting vs task lighting

Just started using them in the kitchen and love the lamps but would love them if they were brighter. It's a "warm" color of light, more yellow than white, and they cast shadows (I have another type of light that doesn't shine, but they don't last at all). cuisine and very reasonable prices. 2 remote controls are very convenient. These lights would be ideal as accent lighting above task lighting.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

It's important to understand what is and isn't

As the topic says, it's important to understand what is and isn't. They are designed for accent lighting. It's not the halogen under-cabinet lighting you put in the kitchen for cooking or under office cabinets for writing a note. It's just not bright enough. This should be obvious on battery power, otherwise the battery would die in a few hours. They work well as accent lights. But, for example, in my office I still have to turn on the desk lamp to write a note. These lights improve the overall

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Overall I am very happy with how they work and they have exceeded my expectations. They're bright enough to be used in a dark kitchen where you don't want to turn on the full kitchen lights for specific small or brief tasks at the sink or counter. They are perfect under the table to illuminate your typing keyboard when the room is darker and you don't feel like turning on the bright lights. I tried both remote controls. They are both fully functional according to the buttons and can work…

I love these simple little lights! I used three in my kitchen as shown here and the fourth is in the closet. Easy to install, but be careful which way you're facing the infrared eye before sticking it on! One of them was facing a wall (which obviously didn't respond to the remote) and I had to use a spatula to peel off the extremely sticky tape and turn it around. I was able to save the sticky pad to reuse when I flipped it over. I would suggest installing them together with the base first and…

Simple and effective!

I like to light my house in a certain way and avoid too bright rooms. For my kitchen, these lights were the PERFECT addition; I installed them under the cabinets and they give off enough light to illuminate the kitchen in a functional and pleasant way without having to turn on the ceiling light. This style of lighting in the kitchen keeps the kitchen cool when I have guests over for a relaxing evening of games and drinks because instead of bright overhead lights we have these little lights that
