🚗 Britax Marathon ClickTight Oasis Convertible Car Seat Review

Very strong and safe child seat. They did well on a journey through rough terrain. The children's harness attaches and detaches smoothly and easily. Easy operation for nimble fingers, no fumbling, fumbling or forcing. This seat is very difficult to move between vehicles but is securely attached to the vehicle. You never have to worry about your kid being insecure due to user error.

I bought this because I wanted something easy to install if I need to fit it to another car. It is bulky/heavy but still easy to install. We use the seat belt on the rear outer seat (Honda Accord and Mazda 3) and middle seat (Ford F-150). Durable, seems comfortable and easy for a child to take on and off. I've only used reverse so far. It doesn't seem to get too hot either, even in the Texan sun, but I have a sun visor just in case (haven't made it through the hottest days yet).

I work as a car seat repairer and childcare worker. It's really easy to install it properly, but you need to read the child safety instructions in the car seat instruction manual and the car instruction manual. It's wider than my last seats so only two seats fit in the back seat of my Ford Fusion (there were 3 other brands). But well built and going by the age of 10 nothing can go wrong. This is our second marathon. We bought the original to fit in the back seat of a mid-size pickup truck. Now that we no longer have that car we found it to be a very comfortable seat and got another one for the second car. I took the blue one because it was cheaper than the Inspire. The actual installation is not bad, but it is cumbersome, so we prefer not to switch from car to car (takes about 5-10 minutes). Overall I think this is a safe car seat. My daughter seems relatively comfortable. After a few mishaps, the lid is fairly easy to take off and clean, and it looks good too.
