Smaller than the Ghost 11

I have the Ghost 11 men's size 12 which fits great so I also ordered a size 12, socks almost at the bottom of the shoe. A size 12 gave me some wiggle room on older versions of the Ghosts, but these are comfortable. I recommend getting half a size bigger than your old ones.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not as good as it says it is

High level of comfort for varied workouts

Type of exercise performed: long-distance running and climbing on and off the treadmill. Advantages: β€’ Lightweight. β€’ Minimal branding and packaging. The toe is neither too wide nor too narrow. β€’ ideal tip length; not too long but not so short that the double binding would hurt the top of the foot. β€’ Seems to handle midfoot and heel strikes well with no adverse side effects (but I've only tested this on 3 occasions). Body weight, fitness level, running surface and weather all play a role in how

Pros
  • also understandable for "old hands"
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Very good shoes best for men

I am very picky about the sneakers I wear and have found Brooks shoes to be the best for me. I have Brooks Ghost 12s which were really comfortable and I've ridden them a lot of miles. I decided it was time for a new pair and I saw the Ghost 13 so I decided to buy them and I wasn't disappointed. They are very comfortable and just what I needed for my feet. I am very happy with this shoe.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Narrow, tiny toe box, blisters even with special running socks

Up one size - still tight. correct length Feels less cushioned than my minimalist trail Altras. I just wanted cushioned road running shoes, and my thin-soled Nike running shoes were softer. They also blistered the tops of my toes with $17/pair wool running socks designed for an ultra run of just 2 miles while my fingers rubbed the bottom of the sock. I can't return them as I walked in them. I'm embarrassed to give them to charity as they would be inconvenient. I'm 177 and almost 5ft 9" tall…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues
