Lightweight for women

I usually love Brooks running shoes but these were a bit unexpected. They feel a bit thin. I don't find them supportive when running, but they are good for walking. I've decided to keep them, but I can't say I recommend them.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Worst pair of shoes

I previously wrote a review about how good these shoes were and I came back to say these shoes are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have worn Brooks for many years and these shoes are defective. I went for my usual 5 mile walk and my feet, ankles, arches, knees and back hurt for DAYS afterwards. I literally have to throw these shoes away.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • For an old

Very stiff ankle/heel

Currently runs 10-12 miles a week on Brooks Launch 6. I had a Defyance 9 before that and a Ghost before that (can't remember generation). All 3 felt very comfortable and didn't even need a warm up. (I have a neutral foot and don't need much support.) When I tried on the Launch 7 I could feel where the blisters were forming. I wore them at home during the day but there is a hard protrusion at the top of the heel/bottom of the ankle that is sure to cause blisters. These are coming back tomorrow.

First time disappointed with Brooks shoes.

I've been wearing Brooks shoes exclusively for over 10 years. This is the first time I've had trouble with a pair. I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet all day and I train in it too. With this pair, after just a month of wearing, I noticed the material was tearing around my ankle and the drawstrings. I have attached two photos; one when I first noticed the breakdown and one last week. I haven't owned these shoes for 3 months and they are already too uncomfortable to wear. Usually the inserts break…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Zero

Tighter than other Brooks shoes of the same size

I have several pairs of Brooks running shoes (I LOVE the shoes) and they fit much more snugly than all my other running shoes. I always have a dent in my foot from the laces; while none of my other shoes do. Green is my absolute favorite color so I had to have it, I just make sure to wear it when I'm not walking around a lot; because in this couple there is simply no comfort. I don't usually order shoes (actually never, this is my first time) without trying them on first, but I figured that…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Some issues
