🟨 Enhanced Brother LC101Y Yellow Ink Cartridge for Improved Printing Performance Review

I haven't installed the cartridge yet, but I have ordered it and was very satisfied. I am actually replying in the hope that the shipping department will be notified as the shipping was insufficient. The ink cartridge was in a thin bubble envelope and the ink cartridge box was BROKEN. The item is not adequately protected. Looks like the cartridge is ok but I won't know for sure until I install it! I just think the shipping way could be much better.

This is the third cartridge I've tried and none of them have worked, Brother brand or not. The printer even recognizes the cartridge and displays the ink level on a digital screen. But still nothing when I type. I've tried printing from all sorts of media and nothing has changed. I'm willing to just throw this printer away and never buy a Brother printer again.

I bought these a few months ago because I couldn't print until I put new ones in. Produced and printed in color only once or even twice. Plus didn't use much paint, if any. Now he tells me it's too small to register. I checked twice and they fit my model. I can't tell you how disappointed I am after 2 uses now they are empty. I wonder how many were in them when I go there. Sending back too late and never buy from this company again!

My wife and I CAN print 50 pages. And it's very generous. And yet this thing is completely empty? I'm going to get another one and will keep an eye on it very closely. I have a $20 printer that I use 10 times as much as this brother's printer and after a year the black toner was half empty. But this is my color printer so I need to make sure it has black ink. Spirit.

The quality of the ink doesn't matter, it's the quantity that counts compared to this MFC device. I'm a low volume home user but the ink levels seem to dip lower and lower over time and don't seem necessary with my use. The same applies to black hi-yield cartridges and esp color cartridges. Colors do not always correspond to reality. For my needs I prefer black. High output doesn't necessarily mean high output, so I'll stick with standard output.
