Went with the "best " but not as well

I spent the extra money on Brothers high performance inks, excited that I have something that should be the best for my printer. I'm already missing lines on the printout, making it difficult for my homeschooled children to read their printouts. I am very disappointed in this product. Colored inks (unbranded) still work great. No questions.

Warning. These inks are not compatible with printers not purchased in the United States.

I am a customer from other countries and according to the product description this ink is compatible with my home printer (JDW 491). . However, when I got the ink - I put it in the printer correctly - it fit in perfectly, but the printer kept saying that no ink cartridge was detected and that I should try to "reinstall" it. After searching the internet for a solution to this problem, it turned out that Brother has region specific ink and ink purchased in the US will only work with Brother…

It's only a few pages long.

After printing just a few pages with a new set of ink cartridges, the print quality has decreased. I cleaned the printhead and unfortunately the quality was only restored after a few pages. I don't know if the problem is with the printer or with the cartridges, in any case the system is defective and Brother customer service is useless.

Only when the money supply is infinite

Everyone knows OEM is better. But is it really worth the cost? Not for me. I will never buy original cartridges again. They rob us. Now I have bought several compatible printers for my printers, printers for business, printers for friends. They make great gifts because not everyone likes the price of these genuine cartridges. But if money is not an issue, I recommend them.

Good packaging, low yield.

I love the individual color packs, you can buy the color you use the most and you don't have to wait for additional materials to take effect. However, the high performance doesn't seem to last very long even when using the lowest document printing standard. I think it's probably cheaper to buy a new printer than to buy ink.
