VERY GOOD! - Portable AV

I was a little skeptical about buying this little antenna but I had to use the MURS frequency. Honestly the thing is as good as my Larsen 2/70V, if not better. Robust construction, long TX/RX distance! 73..

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Can't remember

The antenna works great and the seller is the best

I had a problem with the antenna receiver and contacted the seller. He immediately sent me a new one and called me to make sure it was working. I strongly recommend buying from this seller.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Very expensive

Excellent antenna for a scanner, I recommend.

This is the best tri-band antenna I've found in a long time. This is a very heavy task and requires a 5" NMO mount due to the weight of the 800MHz coils. It is also a very high gain receiving antenna for scanners.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Doubtful

Exceeded my expectations

I'm too picky about my radios and needed 700Mbps for my Viking handheld's external antenna. This thing works as well or even better than my base Larson load the VHF antenna and in most cases gives me 2 more digital signal bands at 700 compared to the factory rubber duck antenna. This is a must if you live in the country like me.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Little things

Product did not receive RF as described.

I was happy to purchase and receive this product but was disappointed in its use. It is described as BR-137 NMO Browning Multiband Antenna 136-174MHz, 3dBi gain, 380-520MHz, 6dBi gain, 698-960MHz, 6dBi gain. I have nothing on 2m and 470-490 on 70m and nothing on 698-960MHz. I know if this antenna was tested before it was sent to me, but it doesn't work. Also, I was very disappointed that I paid over $50 for something that didn't fit me.
