Economical and efficient

I climbed Mount Shasta with these crampons. I have my own cats for the same money as some of my friends. They worked very well.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So-so

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good for the price.

Goes well with my US-12 boots, may go with US-13 but obviously not for vertical ice climbing as that feature is not listed. I don't feel any difference to Black Diamond. A note on paper teaches you how to dress properly.

Pros
  • Consistent results on testing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great cats. Perfect fit

You climbed Mount Hood with them. In my size 12, Danners fits perfectly. It would be too small for a size 13 boot with a thick sole. There were no problems on the ice. I slipped on one leg a few times but didn't tie it properly.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Appearance

Quality climbing and ice gear

The first pair of crampons I bought for climbing Mount Whitney. All this time they felt strong and secure. Me and my buddy, in identical crampons, successfully climbed the slide. Don't buy other yellow ones at Revain ($26). Another friend I went with took them and they broke. It is great.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

It's worth it.

I've had these up and down the mountains of New Hampshire in the worst of the worst conditions. These don't fail. They stick like magnets. I've beaten them from hikes to winter descents and there's barely a scratch left on them. IF they ever wear out I will ONLY buy them again. Good product

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • there are nuances

It seems good, terrible Instructions

Bought to work on a very steep mountain slope.1). Adjust to be tight, use a little, then adjust.2). Wear thick socks and tie your shoes tight. Your shoes must fit properly.3). Be careful. They can slide on rocks and stick to dirt. In the forest they collect many leaves. Do you have a walking stick. I could climb and ski down 60 degree slopes with ice under wet leaves.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • No power

Heel slides forward

It was a good price. I used these crampons for 3 rides on a sporty EVO. Each round trip was 5 miles. I've found that the sliding part of the healing part moves forward while the rising metal part stays 1/2-3/4 inches from the back in the sole. This situation causes the metal part of the rising end to be pushed into the rubber outsole, which is annoying. I bandaged a couple of times while climbing in the snow and decent but got the same result. 14 teeth fix a steep slope in the snow well…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Durable, works as expected

Works as expected. Went up Mount Baker with them in N Cascades NP and they held up better than other climbers with more expensive gear. No problems, excellent grip on ice and late snow. Highly recommended. The only thing I don't like is the traditional double ring locking mechanism found on this and many other crampons as they are awkward to tighten, especially with gloves on, but that's not unique to this particular product.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Reliability

I bought two pairs. good for climbing

When the first pair came out they said on the sleeve with a translation that they were for climbing, hiking and "crossing the lines". I was pleased! Now I have the right gear to cross the line! Strangely, they didn't fit my boots and I had to buy a longer flex plate from another manufacturer to get them to fit. (I wear size 15 boots). The original flexplate is perfect. The new one was too flexible. As soon as I got the boots with shorter soles I put the old plate back in place. I've used them…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Strap
