Well first of all I didn't look at these photos carefully enough and didn't read the description because I thought it was textured leather but it turns out that it is a type of patterned microfiber. They are not as comfortable as the first pair of shoes I bought from this company. They had some memory foam or gel in the sole while not having much support.
