Bluetooth streaming at low cost

Connector plugs as advertised to factory Ridgeline RTS Gen 1 head unit. The cable is long enough for me to easily move the module into the glove compartment. Installation time 15 minutes. After using it daily for the past week, I haven't had any problems. Bluetooth connects quickly. The sound quality is acceptable, but I'll admit that I'm not a music lover. As I wrote this review in 2020, I don't have a device that still uses a 3.5mm jack to test this feature. I haven't found any use for…

Look no further, this is what you should buy!

Easy to install. Outstanding sound quality. I wouldn't have left it if it wasn't for very clear audio over Bluetooth. The quality is as good as a straight 3.5mm jack! *** 6 Months Update *** After several months of use, Bluetooth randomly disconnects. Not just once in a while, but constantly and over and over again to the point where you want to break the hammer blow. I'll open the dash again and just plug in the 5mm cable for a direct connection. This seems to happen most often when overtaking

A 5mm socket works well too, but you'll have to restart the car.

Installed on my 2004 Honda Accord LX. Installation is relatively easy. However, you will need a plate puller and a drill (optional) for installation. One star less because of the lack of detailed instructions. I followed the GTA Bluetooth KIT installation video. The sound quality has greatly improved compared to the FM station. Bluetooth connects to my Android instantly. The 3.5mm jack works well too, but you'll have to restart the car to switch back to Bluetooth. Cannot play music through the…

If you care about music quality, choose USA Spec (seriously)

Honest review: Bluetooth quality is not very good. This is a budget option. Having taken my car apart many times to get the best result, I recommend the USA Spec option. To be honest, if quality is important to you, don't waste your time on this. Star deduction for bad sound quality and low volume. Also, USB music playback doesn't work at all (at least on a 2006 Honda Accord EX with XM). It does not come with detailed instructions. Manufacturer/Seller - They should link to detailed instructions

  • Great for me

Does the job with good sound quality

Easy to install. Not sure why some are reporting this as poor quality. (Maybe it's just your audio system installed in your car). I'm missing a rear speaker, but I'm still happy with the sound. Much better than a regular aux cable. Come on, this device is compatible with 2002 cars! I'm happy with that. I think it's worth it if you don't want to spend even more money on a new head unit. One note: initially my radio would not sync to the Bluetooth device. The LED did not light up, the radio did…

Great Bluetooth connection, but nothing more

Bluetooth sound quality is very good and connection with voice guidance is easy. On my phone, the direct connection through the input jack is a bit muffled, so when you switch back to FM from the Crux input, the radio gets a lot louder. My biggest gripe with this product is that I jumped through a few extra hoops to set up the box so I could easily access it to play music from a flash drive. So far I've tried 3 different brands/sizes of USB sticks and different MP3 files with no success. Other…
