Found a belt buckle in an empty house I was working on and bought it for her. It was easy enough to attach and had a standard buckle. Looks like high quality leather. But it's time to decide. If it lasts, I'll put the last star.

Belt arrived damaged indicating poor quality control. There is no reason why this item should leave the warehouse. The belt came in a plastic wrap so I didn't have to use a knife to open it. But someone did that before me. Aside from obvious damage (indicative of the overall quality of the material), the belt is less than 1-1/2 inches wide. Total length 41 inches, 36 inches to the center hole, which corresponded to a normal waist size of 34.

I bought this for my husband because you can't find good belts where we live, I also wanted the product "made in the USA". I ordered more than recommended, 2 inches more waist. This belt was a nice color match with my boots but that's the mildest comment I can make. I was very disappointed straight out of the package to see that the custodian was very cheaply stapled rather than sewn. I could forgive the use of flimsy staples, but one of the latches snapped as soon as I tried to put the buckle on. After buying and returning 3 straps which turned out to be faux leather from China I was fortunate to find this one. Real leather, made in the USA! My buckle fits very well. I've been wearing the buckle regularly since I got it in 1987. The original belt I bought for her lasted a long time but started breaking a few weeks ago.

Tape doesn't look high quality at all. It is peeling off composite/faux leather and doesn't look like a single piece of leather. The black "paint" on the strap is actually a synthetic topsheet and started peeling off a month ago of use. All in all I feel cheated and honestly I could have bought a belt at my local Target store or something else of the same quality for a few bucks less with a buckle no less. Not impressed at all.
