Buffway Classic Italian Leather Casual Review

I needed a replacement for my all time favorite belt. But I wanted to pay a fair price ($20) and not a stupid price ($30) for a basic but quality leather belt. I needed a stiff, thick 1 1/2 inch belt that was still soft and had a nice finish. I carry items attached to my belt that need to be held snugly to prevent them from dangling. This $20 Buffway belt is exactly what I was looking for. I wear 34" pants and ordered a 36" belt. I use the center hole on this belt for sizing.

The belt looks good but only time will tell how the workmanship holds up etc. It looks good quality BUT it clearly says Made in CHINA! The description suggests that it is an Italian product. so for me the price is so-so for a chinese belt. The size chart and order selection are also confusing! It says order one size larger than your waist, but when you decide to order it says order your waist size! I ordered 48 because my pant size is 46, the belt was marked 50. BUT it is closer to 48. So disappointed. I bought it as a gift for my husband on July 30th. It was barely 2 months past the return window (I'm writing this in the last week of October). Who designs this belt? It has a screw or rivet that came loose and the other half of the screw (carrier) fell off. I would take it to my local shoe repair shop but I am embarrassed that I was scammed for poor product quality and inaccurate reviews.

I received this belt and it was larger than expected. I had to cut. Actually it was pretty easy. The belt looks good and appears to be relatively durable. It stretched after the first use or two and needed extra adjustment. Due to the stretching, it is no longer smooth. At this point it fits in the morning, but it seems to stretch throughout the day. I don't know why, but I seem to lose 20 pounds during the day and put it back on in bed. I often find that at the end of the day I have to tighten

I have a 33" waist and ordered a 34" belt. It attaches to the second hole on the inside, and three more holes as I get bigger. Nice, thick and wide (3/16" x 1.5") cowhide leather and a very attractive buckle. I couldn't find anything like this in several stores in the mall for less than $40. Excellent value for money and quality. Update: Belt size is determined from where the belt connects to the buckle to the first (inner) hole. My height is 34 inches as stated. The comments said to order your actual waist size. This is a mistake. I ordered a 31 inch drop and a 32 inch belt. This is too little. Make sure you order much larger than your actual waist size, or it will be too small. Aside from the size, everything else about the belt is very good. Well made and worth the money. Update: The owner saw my review and contacted me to make sure I'm happy. He sent me a new size 34 belt and it fits my size 31 perfectly. What a stand up act. I love company with…
