This article actually works. I really think it attracts mosquitoes. I'm sitting on the porch, always had mosquito problems and thought this might work. Well what a big mistake, I got bitten more times while wearing this product. Don't waste money on this product

This summer they were absolutely effective at repelling mosquitoes and I had serious problems with them before I bought them. I often use one on each wrist and one on each ankle! They last quite a long time. I used the same four for most of the summer. The smell is noticeable, but not unpleasant - not chemical. Much better than spraying yourself with one of those sticky products.

These tapes do smell like citronella, but they don't help repel mosquitoes. The smell dissipates very quickly and if you put it on your wrist I think it's too far from your calves for the swamps to eat it up. For some reason mosquitoes LOVE me so I've tried every possible solution but so far the only thing that has worked has been garlic pills. Hope that helps!

Here's a word of caution. The first time I tried a bandage on my arm was when I was weeding my garden. The mosquitoes stayed away from the arm with the bandage but clung to the other arm. So yes, you need a bandage on each arm. And two more for your legs if you wear shorts. Each band comes in a handy ziplock bag to keep it from wearing out too quickly. But since I use 4 assortments I just keep them all in a sandwich bag.
