I bought this belt at the end of July and it started wearing out at my most common notch sometime in November I would say? And other pieces of leather that were woven/woven were already torn by this time. Now, in January, the notch is almost completely worn out and is about to break. The belt is a combination of leather and vinyl. The belt is also not actually woven from leather, but from leather threads that are threaded through holes in the strap, which is the core of the belt. Not sure what the strap is made of, but the strap loops appear to be vinyl. Looks good and corresponds to the description.

Very nice belt. It got on a bit long and I was disappointed by the messages from people saying it couldn't be shortened. I decided to give it a try and it's actually pretty easy. All you have to do is remove the screw that attaches the strap to the end of the buckle. Then cut a row of stitches in the cover at the top of the belt. I'm very picky about belts, I need a new one about once a year or more often. I love the endless customization with the braided straps and the look. This belt was packaged in a cloth bag in a gift box. The quality and processing of the leather are impeccable. I expect to have to replace it just as often due to heavy use, but this will be the one I'll be reordering.

If you want an attractive belt for your child, this product is great. If you're looking for an everyday workhorse belt, look elsewhere. I was looking for a replacement for the Toneka full grain webbing straps which I like but they don't seem to be made anymore. It looks like the belt has two main components. Firstly there is one type of build material which could be leather which has all the holes you see in the picture. Second, there are decorative leather straps that weave in and out of holes

I will add to the conversation about the problem of dimensions. I replaced a similar burgundy Nordstrom belt that had expired. This belt measures 46 inches at the waist and physically measures 53 inches from tip to tip. Here I ordered size XL which is described as 44-48" waist and physically it was 54". Then I ordered the same belt in black. When I received it, I noticed that it (and the burgundy belt) are embossed like "135cm" on the inside. This converts to 53.1496 inches. So I'm adding a…
