Works perfectly! - Transmission and transmission

This honestly worked for a 1992 Buick Riviera that they no longer make some parts for. Fix the shift cable so that it stays attached!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Can't remember

Life Saver: Replacement Parts

This Life Saver, someone who didn't know this simple part existed and was fairly easy to fit, would have bought a brand new shift cable mechanism instead.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

88 Buick Reatta in gearbox and gearbox

Fixed end of shift cable for my 88 Reatta. It was difficult to get the plug onto the shifter with the new socket, I pushed the socket down with a pen tube and now the cable stays attached.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negative impression

Yes it's expensive but worth it

I used this on a 1998 Suburban. I couldn't find the jack anywhere else. Make sure you get rid of all the old rubber, I had to scrape it off really well. Customer service was fantastic, I called and a very nice lady answered all my questions and gave me clear instructions.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not bad

Gi1Kit Green hub fits 2006 Chevy Tahoe.

I bought the Gi1Kit and not the Si2Kit because I could get the kit quicker. The sets are the same except for the direction. I used the green bushing and followed the instructions from the busingfix.com website for my 2006 Tahoe. Installing the new jack only took a few minutes and it seems to be working great! The price for a tiny piece of plastic seems high, but it saved me from buying a brand new shifter cable ($45 from Revain or $78 from the dealer) and paying over $150 to install it.

Pros
  • Lasting Test Results
Cons
  • Updates
