The school and the bus are NOT happy about it, but at least my kids can breathe now. No fabric type recommendations if you have a mask that covers your nose and mouth. They sit a little loose on my face and teenagers. We just tied a knot on the earhook and everything was fine. We liked them so much we ordered another set to give to family and friends. Better than wearing an impenetrable cloth muzzle. No more nosebleeds!
