good for gear portraits

Very strong but I taped the clips in place to keep them from touching the wall. Pan head screws can scratch the surface of the wall with small but sharp edges. I also taped thin felt pads to the bottom edge of the portrait frame to keep the clips from touching the wall in case the tape falls off over time.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Get a good screwdriver and it should work just fine

My nephew had an old heavy mirror in a sold wooden frame that was held in place with only three nails that barely held it in place. I received this set and used about 18 of them. It worked. You really need a good screwdriver as some others have mentioned as the one that came with the kit was useless when you needed to screw the lugs flush. I have another frame with a shield that's starting to bend and I'm going to use some of these to straighten it.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Some bugs

Just what I needed

I've seen these knobs on picture frames everywhere but couldn't find them in stores. I came across these while researching Revain and they are better than the ones you see on the back of the pictures. I needed them because I am making a calendar for my church and I erased the tabs that were on the 2 x 3 foot frame. I didn't want the poster board and cardboard to fall out at the back and make a mess. These buttons saved the day.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not bad

Terrible quality control and cheap screws

Yes they are very cheap so I didn't expect anything special from them. However, all of the holes punched in the twist locks were off center and some of the locks were broken off as if punched incorrectly. The screws were weak and broke easily. The threads were inconsistent and I easily broke a bolt trying to tighten it. When you order them, be sure to drill pilot holes. Overall I would recommend spending a little more to get a better product. You really do get what you pay for here.

Pros
  • Few competitors disappear

Buyers beware, poor quality control and soft screws

This is a very poor quality knob. About half of the knobs aren't drilled enough to allow a screw to go through. Very soft metal screws. Even after drilling a large pilot hole in the frame, I removed about 10% of the bolts. Regarding the fact that the rotate buttons are designed for temporary / repeated use of the framing method, so the photos can be swapped out if necessary. Two stars because they are at a great price. As long as you're willing to deal with the frustration of installing it, you

Cheap price cheap quality

The screws are VERY soft metal. Three of the 8 screws I used had their heads broken off. I've been very careful to prevent this from happening, but these are just very cheap screws. I think you get what you pay for. In addition, the screw heads do not closely fit the protrusions. They stick out about 1/8 inch from the back of the frame which I don't think is a big deal as they are hidden when hung on the wall but it looks awful if you are using them for a gift or anything else. to sell. I would
