Does what it's supposed to do but god that thing looks cheap and ugly. It would be much better in a flat finish or some sort of leather finish. The glossy finish just looks awful

I used them in Greece with no problem. Not really "upscale" but got the job done. It's thin, so it doesn't pose a problem in terms of volume in the bag. Immigration officers at either end of our trip had no trouble getting information. I plan to use it again.
