Works great for an AT&T U-verse 50 feet from Jack's wall!

I bought this cable to mount my AT&T U-Verse DSL Router 50 remotely from a wall outlet. And it worked great! In fact, my speed is slightly faster than when using the original and shorter green cable that came with the router. The reason I needed this cable was because I wanted to install the router in a central location in my house and mount it on the ceiling. However, my wall outlet was 50 feet away from me. Buyer Warning! Poor quality control of a failed cable would probably be fine for phone use.

Trash! I bought it because I was looking for a reliable, once-for-a-lifetime cable. I didn't know much about phone cords, but I learned quite a bit about RJ11 cords, crimping and wiring thanks to this horrible cord that gave me a lot of trouble. In short, these cables are made with very poor quality control and I had to take apart and reassemble mine to get it working. Totally satisfied with this RJ11 cable.

This RJ11 cable has replaced a cable that has been in use since about 1986. Thought it was time for an update! The cable I replaced was unshielded so all sorts of noise got into the line. Since using DSL I've noticed a nice speed boost (nothing major, another 100kbps on download) which I can only attribute to a reduction in the noise on my line!
