Cables It depends on very good cables

The power cable for the second hard disk was too short. Mainly due to the fact that this computer was not configured to install an SSD. Took a set of these and they worked perfectly. The OEM calculator issue has also been fixed. Now my wife's computer is much faster and we didn't have to replace it. Instead of tethering the SSD to an unknown location, I was able to mount it correctly on the adapter.

Well designed and easy to install

These cables are well designed and easy to install! I have five external hard drives, all connected to the system bus. The power connectors on these drives are prone to binding and the data cables fall out, causing system boot problems. These extension cables make it easier for me to disconnect all drives and keep track of which data cable goes with which drive. Before that, it was all a confusing mess!

Those are cables! They work!

Someone at HP in their INFINITE WISDOM decided to make the SATA power cable 3 inches shorter in my case to reach the hard drive bay. These cables solved that problem with very little headache. I simply cut off one end of a cable that was too short and the other end easily reached my new hard drive. than my computer.) They seem to be just as well made as the ones currently in my case. All in all a good buy, definitely better than the alternative (brand new power supply).

Simplified SATA power delivery.

The computers I make don't have glass windows/panels, so it doesn't matter what they look like. I still make time for good cable management, as do you, for many reasons. This saved me from using a different SATA power cable for a different SSD that still couldn't reach the main cable. I've done this on 2 computers running on the same setup and they both work fine. Highly recommended.
