Do not use them with HDR content!

I ordered 4 pcs. for use in two different rooms. Installation was easy and my connection test passed once I made the connections. When I played the first HDR UHD Blu Ray a few weeks later, my projector and AV receiver had problems with the HDMI handshake. After many hours of troubleshooting and checking every HDMI cable, I determined that this wall plate was the culprit. Removing the wall plate from the HDMI circuitry solved the problem. I now use regular HDMI keystone connectors that don't…

PS4/4k TV (caution)

I bought two of these, one behind the TV and one behind the TV stand to hide the cables. They worked flawlessly for my Wii U and my new 70 inch Vizio 4k TV. I recently bought a PS4 Pro and am not getting any signal from it on my TV. I fixed every component (every HDMI cable from PS4 straight to TV etc). One thing I've noticed is that it works great using just one wallboard instead of two. I connected the PS4 to the wall plate and then connected the HDMI directly to the TV from the back of THAT…

Works great for my setup although I don't need 4k or HDR.

Purchased: Cable Matters 2-Pack 2-Port HDMI Wall Panel White (Supports 4K UHD, ARC, and Ethernet Pass-Thru) Overview: Works great, looks great, easy to install. I can't speak about 4k/HDR as we don't have 4k/HDR media devices. That being said, most of the bad reviews I see don't specify what cable or what length of cable they use in the wall, so I'm hesitant to say the panel "doesn't work" for 4k/60fps. My very short run ended up in the bedroom and I had to use a 35ft cable that doesn't support
