Required to connect the water cooling pump to a SATA connector instead of having to connect a 4-pin connector just for the pump.

October 9, 2021 This is a power port adapter that connects to an optical drive with a MOLEX connector to convert it to a SATA connector. Modern power supplies that power the motherboard, optical drives, and hard drives in today's hardware rely heavily on SATA connections. Older computer systems use more 4-pin Molex connectors. You will run out of molex connectors on your power supplies and run out of connectors. The same power supplies have more SATA connectors. So this adapter converts to aโ€ฆ
