Not 30cm! USB cable

Cable length NOT 30cm as described. Sent back for a replacement after hoping for a fault. It was the same the second time. Possibly 15 cm long. Buyer Warning.

Works but not with my battery

They work fine with my laptop to connect to my Garmin GPS but when I tried to power the GPS from an external USB battery the recognised Battery nothing and would not turn on. This was my intended use so I could charge in my backpack without straining the plug, which is very disappointing.
