Buy this Ethernet! No regret! READ THE UPDATE!

This Cat7 ethernet is amazing. The best bang for your buck. I noticed a difference in my latency compared to the cat6 I was using. I definitely recommend this Ethernet to anyone looking for an upgrade. UPDATE: I had these ethernet cables for about 2 months and they stopped working. No damage to them or anything like that. They just stopped working

Category 7 long and strong cables

I was looking for a long Ethernet cable to connect my Mac to Bluetooth. I was surprised to see that my 25MB Bluetooth download speed over a 100ft cable became 213MB over Ethernet. High quality cable connections. Feel like I'm in control again and flexible remotely.

Pros
  • There's something to it

Sturdy Cat 7 cables

Had to route it under a narrow door. Everything worked perfectly. The flat cable is great and the Category 7 cable transfers data very quickly regardless of the 150 foot cable length. My PlayStation 4 download speed is over 200Mbps.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • flimsy

Clean, discreet facility.

I bought several lengths (2-50ft, 1-25ft and 1-15ft) to go to my smart TVs in the bedrooms, living room TV and ring to run. The stick-up camera that stands on the front door of my two-bedroom apartment. They're all connected to an 8-port switch that's in my living room. Next to it is a hybrid modem/router provided by my ISP. It's not the best considering it sometimes loses the Wi-Fi signal, so I went with these Ethernet cables. I attached them with double sided tape and spread them out at each…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

AT&T offers +/- 930 Mbps from the handhole to our gateway. Used a 100ft flat Cat 7 ethernet cable to carry this signal from one side of the basement to our "command center" and out the wifi. No more drops and lags. We get 930 or so simultaneously on PS4 Pro, PS5, Desktop and Laptop with "TP-Link TL-SG105".

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Really Cat 7? The Best in Computers and Accessories

I have a 50 foot reel of this flat cable that runs through a few rooms to an HDBASET adapter. The HDBASET adapter powers the projector with an HDBASET connector. I've noticed intermittent cabling issues, which are often resolved with a little wiggling of the cables. I have a feeling this cable is not really CAT7 compliant and if so it would be interesting to see their certification. at my length. I have a feeling that conductors closer to the 30 AWG size range are used as the cable is very…

  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • So far so good

Ordered 6 packs of 1ft Cat7 shielded ribbon cables. 2 out of 6 cables failed the shield test when tested with the Klein Tools LAN Explorer Basic Cable Tester prior to use, with a 33% failure rate. Bandwidth not tested, but Cat7 specs say connector-to-connector shielding to avoid interference. Very disappointing as the product looks very sturdy and well built and the flat cable color coding is great. I emailed the CableGeeker manufacturer in Hong Kong and customer service responded within 1 hour

Installed, done. So far, so good.

I bought them back in July 2020 and am only now writing a review. A few years ago I moved to a new location and decided that instead of installing ethernet cables it would be better to use our own router's Wi-Fi with a newly installed cable modem. It was fine at first, but over time the performance got worse and worse for both my Mac and PC. The cable company Sp-----m of course doesn't support Wi-Fi on our router and they wanted us to rent their own "approved" router for WiFi [so much for WiFi…
