CableMod ModFlex SATA Cable 30Cm Review

Looks nice in my white and black case but as the name suggests it arrived a little dirty. I assume the zipper holding it together is to blame. Once assembled you can't see the dirty spots as most of the cable is routed back but still a bit of a shame. Had to deduct a star as I wasn't expecting to see this from CableMod QC and I get it...it's a white cable that gets dirty easily but still. Overall it's good and I can't wait to get my PSU cables from them. Hopefully they don't have this problem.

The cables are amazing, I've actually found that my build doesn't really need them due to the wiring in my case. Due to the case/cell phone combo I'm using, only about 1/2 inch of white is visible before it falls through the hub to the other side where the rims are mounted. Corsair Air240 or 240Air cases, whatever, I've used a more traditional case with the drive bay mounted on the same side as the cellphone, I'm sure these will be aces, although they don't look like that to me were useful as I

I saw this particular SATA cable here at Revain as I needed a pair for a new build and wanted red. I really like this cable because it has a very nice braided wire jacket and this particular type of cable can be bent a certain way and stays in a certain shape. Some SATA cables are quite "flexible" and can be taken anywhere without cable management as long as they are not actually tethered. The ends of the SATA cable have good latches (which I like) and help keep the cables connected. (Broken…
