I definitely don't "need" this extension but it changes the look of my system a lot. My standard USB 3.0 cable was long enough, but the orientation of the header caused it to snake and take up a lot more room in the case than I'd like. With this addition, I was now able to hide the excess cable behind the motherboard tray and have some serious cable management on the back of the case.

Loved this product. Looks amazing, has a nice curve to achieve the look you want. My only issue with the product is how the straight end connects to the main USB 3.0 cable. It is loose fitting and had to be taped over to avoid bending or breaking while the item was being fitted. To be on the safe side, I just left the tape on so accidental shaking wouldn't break the pins. I would say the item needs a better fastening feature or latch or even better an insert to allow USP 3.0 cables to fit…

Nothing to say, this is a quality USB3 front extender with 90 angle connector, very useful for me as my cooler overlaps with the USB3 connector Extension allows me to connect my front USB3 from my case to the motherboard very easily. I've used one of the multi-cable extenders which are very cheap and seem good, but they slow down the speed of all my flash drives, while this extender works with no issues.
