This is real leather. It is beautifully finished and looks stylish. I don't care about branding on the front of my purse. These bags are overpriced and people only buy them because of the name. I know because I'm guilty of the same thing, IE Coach, Dooney, Sak, Fossil and MK, American West, whatever. People want these emblems so much that they will even pay good money for a fake one. Trust me we all know the fake mainly because of the way the person is dressed differently.

The handbag itself is very beautiful and well made. The skin smells wonderful. I docked a star because the center inner pocket is actually a bit restrictive. It takes up valuable space and is therefore a bit cramped in an already small handbag. My larger wallet barely fits in. Also, the brand name sounds kind of old-fashioned. This bag is just the right size for me. This is a good medium sized case that fits my wallet, reading glasses, tissues, pens, mirror, hairbrush, phone and more without bulging or looking crowded. I can pack and unpack my things easily.
