I've been wearing it for a while and thought I liked it, but over time I've noticed that it's a little itchy and now I don't wear it anymore for that reason

I usually wear a 7 7/8 hat and it fits me a little but I keep it as it fits and covers my ears but the design is pulled tight. If I was a size 7 1/2 or smaller that would be excellent. There is nothing wrong with the style or construction of the hat, I just have a big head. For small heads I would recommend this winter hat.

This hat was almost perfect. The inside is soft and warm. The fields were big enough to shield the sun. The earpiece could have been longer. They didn't fully cover my ears and didn't fit snugly around my ears, allowing the wind to get under the flaps. I ended up pulling a hood over my coat to keep the wind out. The hat itched too. I bought this hat for my father, he had a similar hat which he loved very much but unfortunately my nephew's dog chewed it on a fateful visit. Definitely a warm combination. Well made and the fleece lining inside the hat and scarf keeps the cold out well. A hat will definitely mess up your hair if you're a man (unless you have super short hair) but it's winter now and that's a given for most hats but the way this one is cut is really going to give you hat hair.
