They mostly get the job done.

We had a turn almost right after the first use, but the ground at that point was particularly hard. Otherwise they are in pretty good condition.

NG. Saves time and money

Cheap plastic I know from experience they won't last a hike or two. Save money, buy long steel nails with a large washer for the canopy mat.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Nothing

Very Fragile - RV Parts & Accessories

I guess knowing they're plastic I didn't expect them to be very strong but if you're using a hard surface I would use instead of metal pegs.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • So-so

Keeps best outside

I've only used them a few times but they keep my sleeping pad on a 9' x 16' patio so it doesn't get blown away. The color matches my rug and I love that the rings have more holding surface than the stake alone.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

They are made of plastic: Patio rugs

We wanted to use them on the mat in front of our van but they broke when we hit them with a hammer. But they are made of plastic. So you get what you pay for. My fault, not the company. I'll use them for something else. Have a nice day.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Functionality

Weak plastic pins that break or bend

Didn't know they were plastic when I bought them. I broke 2 in half with the first hammer blow. It was possible to repair 4 corners of the carpet. The stakes were for my three day trip. I broke the third one pulling it out of the ground and the rest were so bent they couldn't be reused. Don't waste money.
