We are sorry that the company continues to sell a poorly designed product. This is a very expensive ($10) piece of plastic that doesn't fit in the container it's intended for. Being very careful, it took me a lot of effort to put this cap on, but I finally put it on. It took a lot of effort and flexing of both the lid and tub to put it on. I used it about 5 times before it broke and sent a piece of plastic into my dough. Now it fits better ;-), but not airtight ;-(.

I've noticed others say their lids don't fit. You need to buy the right one for your container. All dissatisfied 1 star reviews did not research the product! I made the same mistake but didn't blame the manufacturer. I purchased a Cambro RFSC12PP lid for a Cambro RFS12PP190 12 liter round jar. It fits perfectly, except that both of my numbers stop before 190, which isn't included. It doesn't seem to matter. I have 2 and 4 liter containers. I don't know if all Cambro canisters this size are the same, but this lid only fits four liters and isn't as good. This is because these lids have an inner ledge that runs along the inside of the container. Not sure why, but it is. Then, with a 2-liter container, the plastic handle is shaped in such a way that it forms a kind of ridge on the inside. So when you put the lid on, the inside edge of the lid is against it, so it doesn't sit properly. It seals the…
