Good point and shot with an impressive zoom, but not so good in low light.

I have used this camera and am quite happy with its performance so far. The 30x zoom equivalent to 25-750mm is amazing. As you might expect, the 1/2.3 sensor isn't great for low light shooting, but I found that out before buying the camera. The only problem I had with the seller or the camera was that I received a Nikon charger instead of a charger that fits the Canon NB-6L battery used in this camera. I guess I'll just have to buy one.

Wrong camera for this operator

I originally bought the SX610 HS. It was good but thought I'd be interested in learning more about using the advanced features so I returned it and bought the SX710 HS. "More information about advanced features" is not displayed. I just don't understand how to use these advanced features and am completely lost. The Vivid option has odd colors at times, and I find the Auto functions unintuitive to use. I found the SX610 HS much easier to use and would happily keep it. However, I have to say that

Great camera, but my WiFi broadcast to my desktop isn't working.

Canon PowerShot SX710 HS - RED. always handy) and the tiny camera my wife uses. This Canon weighs 9 ounces versus 56 ounces for my Nikon. Features:1. Small enough to be carried in a pocket on a belt loop. Keep it in my SUV's center console trash can so it's available when needed (e.g. in a car accident).2. Not TOO small for my XXL hands, but you have to be careful when picking it up because it turns on with three different buttons.3. Super zoom, optical image stabilization, easy point-and-shoot
