I bought water guns to play with my 3 year old son. We had so much fun playing water guns on a hot day. The only downside of this product is that it takes some effort to put water into the water gun. I used my plant watering can to fill it with water. Tips: Add 1/2-2/3 water to the water gun when your kids are 3 years old or younger. Filling a water pistol with full water can be too difficult for a small child.

There is a tiny hole in the cap that closes with a hole where you add water, but this is on purpose to allow air to escape to push the water out of the gun.
