I bought a size up for a tall girl and it fits as expected. it's good, but it doesn't take into account that the child is wearing it. She cannot put it on herself and cannot use the bathroom without adult help.

Unfortunately the product shrunk after two washes and the turtleneck choked my daughter. She is 4 years old but very petite (38 inches tall, 30 pounds, 5% weight percentile) so she was on the small end of the size range. I was very disappointed because I spent about $20 and wish this would last more than two uses. When it arrived it was a perfect fit so I don't see how it would fit a 6 year old as stated in his size guide. Now that I've read the washing instructions, I washed it warm, not cold…
