I bought a size up for a tall girl and it fits as expected. it's good, but it doesn't take into account that the child is wearing it. She cannot put it on herself and cannot use the bathroom without adult help.

Unfortunately this item shrank after two washes and the turtleneck made my daughter choke. She's 4 years old but very petite (38 inches tall, 30 pounds, 5% weight percentile), so she was on the small end of the size range. I was very disappointed because I spent about $20 and wish this would last more than two uses. When it arrived it was a perfect fit so I don't see how it would fit a 6 year old like his Size range given I've read the washing instructions, I washed it warm, not cold as stated,
